Kavanaugh Confirmation Proudest Moment For Senator McConnell

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is his proudest moment as Senator.

The Kentucky Republican appeared on Fox News Sunday and says the Senate has done a good job of confirming court justices.

He declined to rule out pushing through another Supreme Court nomination in President Trump’s final year of his term if a vacancy arose.

Meanwhile, McConnell will become the longest-serving Senate Republican leader in history Tuesday.  His tenure will surpass that of former Senator Bob Dole.
