Clarksville Police have arrested the men allegedly involved in two armed robberies Friday and an Oak Grove couple located the dog of a carjacking victim related to the incident.

The first robbery happened about 12:30 p.m. at Metro PCS on Tiny Town Road and the second a few minutes later at Chang’s Beauty Salon on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The two suspects pointed a gun at employees and demanded cash in both instances.

Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says a pursuit of a vehicle thought to be involved in the incidents ended near the 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Whitfield Road with a wreck and the two suspects fled on foot.

Eighteen-year-old William Carter was caught, but 29-year old Mallory Rico allegedly carjacked and assaulted a woman in a black Ford F150 and got away with her truck and Australian Shepherd dog. Rico was located several hours later and arrested following a foot pursuit in the area of Edmonson Ferry Road and Williams Lane.

Clarksville Police learned the elderly dog had been abandoned by Rico in the area of Exit 89 in Oak Grove and animal lovers John and Christa Campbell located her near Lester Memorial Church. She was soon returned to the victim safe and sound.
