Man gets 4th DUI after rear-ending cruiser in Taco Bell drive-thru

A local man was arrested for his fourth DUI early Thursday morning after he became involved in a collision with a Hopkinsville Police cruiser in the Fort Campbell Boulevard Taco Bell parking lot.

An arrest citation for 28-year old Michael Shawn Crow of Hopkinsville says he rear-ended the HPD cruiser in the drive-thru a few minutes after midnight. No one was injured and officers detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person and vehicle.

He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and the report says he admitted to drinking a couple beers at a nearby restaurant before driving.

Crow was charged with having an expired registration, in addition to his fourth DUI offense.
