There have been additional filings for non-partisan offices in Christian County with the deadline about a week away.
Crofton Mayor Daniel Lacy has filed for reelection and Brian Diamond, Reta Fleming and Jimmy Grace are running for Crofton City Council. Fleming is an incumbent.
Christian County Elections Coordinator Melinda Humphries says there still isn’t a full slate of candidates for city council in any of the smaller cities and the deadline to file is Tuesday of next week.
The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is October 9th at 4 p.m.
