Arthur Green running for mayor of Elkton

Former Todd County Judge-Executive Arthur Green will be on the ballot in November to become the next mayor of Elkton.

Green, who led Todd County as judge-executive from 2007 through 2010, believes Elkton city government can become more efficient.

He says he’d work to make it easier for developers to get through the planning and zoning process in Elkton.

In addition to being a former judge-executive, Green was an Ag. teacher for 33 years in the Todd County School System before retiring in 2006.

Green is currently opposed in November by Elkton City Councilman David Haley.

In other Todd County election news, Cara Anderson has filed for Trenton City Commission.
