An arrest warrant was served Thursday night against a local man accused of having a stolen gun.
Hopkinsville Police went to the home of 29-year old Cody Adamov of Hopkinsville on June 6th and an arrest warrant served this week says there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence. A search warrant was obtained and police found a small baggie of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The search also allegedly revealed a handgun reported stolen that was loaded with restricted ammunition. Police say he admitted to attempting to hide the marijuana in his girlfriend’s purse when officers arrived.
He’s charged with receiving a stolen firearm, using restricted ammunition during a felony, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
