A man accused of being involved in a domestic assault was arrested following a foot pursuit early Friday morning.
The initial incident happened at a Faulkner Street home and the victim told police that the father of her child—28-year old Stevie Bacon of Hopkinsville—forced himself into her home by pushing in a window air conditioner and he then punched her in the face multiple times.
Bacon was located by Lt. Seth Meek at 603 Cypress Street and he allegedly fled on foot. He was soon caught and arrested on charges of fourth-degree assault and fleeing or evading police.
The victim’s injuries are described as minor in nature.
