A wreck Tuesday afternoon in Madisonville ejected a passenger in one of the vehicles and he was taken to a local hospital.
A news release from Madisonville Police says 69-year old Sandal Ploeg of Madisonville was westbound on Branch Street and disregarded a stop sign at the intersection with South Scott Street.
He struck an SUV operated by 30-year old Jennie Sherman of Madisonville, ejecting Sherman’s passenger—30-year old Marlo Hutchins of Madisonville.
Hutchins was transported by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries.
