Mother Nature had her way again Tuesday with the 2nd region Baseball and Softball Tournaments.
Softball: Christian County and Madisonville did start their semifinal game at Hopkins Central, but rain halted play in the bottom of the fourth inning with the fourth ranked Lady Colonels leading 5-4. Play is scheduled to resume at 5 pm today with the Heritage Bank pregame show at 4:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP and online at whopam.com.
The second semifinal has Caldwell County meeting Crittenden County.
Baseball: Both games were postponed before rains hit Tuesday. Trigg County meets Union County in the first semifinal today at a new start time of 4:30 at Christian County High’s Colonel Field with Christian County and Henderson County to follow.
