The Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center opens for the summer of 2018 this weekend and city officials have already announced a theme and grand marshal for this year’s Christmas parade.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman appeared on WHOP Friday morning and says the water park opens at 10 a.m. Saturday.
He says they’ll continue having Monday Funday promotions and teen nights.
Regarding the Christmas parade, expect to see Country music singer/songwriter Brice Long out front on the evening of December 9th.
There will also be a temporary ice skating rink downtown on Christmas parade weekend.
