Clarksville Police say a man was killed Thursday when he became pinned under a dump truck.
The dump truck with a trailer attached was parked at the top of a gravel hill on private property on Nolen Road about noon when it began to roll down the hill for unknown reasons, according to a news release.
The truck struck another truck, a car and a tractor before finally coming to rest. Another man on the property heard screaming and arrived to find 58-year old Scott Flitsch with his leg pinned underneath. Police say he had been standing at the rear of the truck when it began to roll.
Flitsch was extricated and flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
