The body of a Fort Campbell soldier who went into Kentucky Lake while tubing Friday afternoon was located by searchers Monday morning.
Lyon County Judge-Executive Wade White posted on social media about 8:30 a.m. that the soldier’s body was found after a search that lasted over two full days.
WPSD TV is reporting the soldier is 20-year old Private First Class JuWan Richardson of Gordon, Alabama.
Officials say he was not wearing his life jacket while tubing behind a pontoon boat in the area of the Twin Lakes Boat Ramp.
