Crews from multiple counties have spent the weekend searching for a Fort Campbell soldier who went under water and never came back up on Kentucky Lake.

It happened near the Twin Lakes Boat Ramp at LBL, according to Lyon Judge-Executive Wade White, who says the soldier had been tubing.

He says Lyon, McCracken and Marshall County rescue squads and dive teams are working together in the effort.

He asks for prayers for first responders and for the family of the soldier.

In a Facebook post, the Marshall County Rescue Squad says the soldier is in his late teens and that he was being pulled by a pontoon boat while tubing when the incident happened.
