Two Republicans are among four candidates running in the May primary for Todd County Clerk.
Brad Powell and Lucille Bryant recently spoke at the Rotary Club of Elkton’s political forums.
Powell, who is the nursing coordinator at Hearthstone Place nursing home in Elkton, says he’d stagger deputy clerks’ hours to keep the office open longer if he’s elected.
Bryant, who works at Personal Finance in Hopkinsville, says she’ll improve technology to allow payment with a debit card at the clerk’s office and will update the voter roll.
The winner of the Republican primary will face the winner of the Democratic primary between Leslie Cunningham and Amy Frogue in November.
