Weather may have played a role in a small plane making a crash-landing Sunday afternoon at Outlaw Field in Clarksville.

A Cessna 182 crashed on landing at the Clarksville Regional Airport about 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Clarksville Police Lt. Steve Warren. The aircraft touched down, went through the perimeter fence and came to rest on the shoulder of Outlaw Field Road, blocking one lane of traffic.

The pilot was the only occupant and police say his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. A thunderstorm was in the area at the time and may been a factor in the incident.
