A Greenville woman was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Saturday following a wreck on the Pennyrile Parkway.
According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle operated by Melissa Forst of Greenville was travelling south on the Parkway near the 8 mile marker when it hydroplaned in standing water. It left the roadway and struck the guardrail in the median.
Forst told deputies she lost complete control of the vehicle when it hydroplaned. She was taken to the hospital for injuries to her hands and arms.
