A Hopkinsville man was arrested on strength of a warrant for third-degree burglary Friday by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
According to the arrest warrant, 32-year old Zachery Sajdyk of Hopkinsville entered the premises of Pennyrile Fire Safety between the dates of February 23rd and the 26th buy cutting a lock. He then allegedly went through multiple tool boxes and stole power tools valued at around $5,000.
Sajdyk also allegedly entered a storage building on East 25th Street on March 7 and stole personal property valued at around $800. There is video surveillance of both burglaries. While being arrested, a search of his person revealed two syringes in his pockets.
Sajdyk was charged with third-degree burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
