All Fort Campbell gates closed for this second time this week Friday morning after a vehicle entered post without stopping.
Few details were given by post officials, who said procedures mandated that all gates were closed until the vehicle was located or until the situation was deemed all clear. The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. Friday.
Meanwhile, a similar incident happened about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and officials say that driver who illegally entered Fort Campbell without providing identification was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.
