Warrant: Man stole chainsaw out of yard

A Hopkinsville man accused of stealing a chainsaw out of a yard has been served with a warrant for felony theft.

Hopkinsville Police served 42-year old Arby Kimble with the warrant Thursday night at the Christian County Jail and it alleges that he entered the victim’s yard on June 16th and loaded the chainsaw into his truck and drove away.

The victim witnessed the incident, but couldn’t get outside in time to stop him.

The victim recognized Kimble, as he had recently sold him a weed eater, according to the warrant.

Kimble was already in jail on a burglary charge.
