White Plains man charged with meth possession

An arrest warrant for methamphetamine possession was served by Hopkinsville Police Wednesday night against a Hopkins County man.

It alleges that on May 15th, 22-year old James Warren Poe of White Plains tossed a baggie of methamphetamine and a glass pipe onto the ground when he saw a police cruiser drive by him in Madisonville.

Officers located the items located the items after a brief search an identified Poe as the suspect.

He is charged with possession of meth, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
