Man arrested after incident in HPD parking lot

A man who drove the wrong way into the rear parking lot of the Hopkinsville Police Department and caused a disturbance was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple charges.

An arrest citation for 44-year old Charles Osburn of Hopkinsville says he drove into the lot, slammed on his brakes, revved his engine and squealed his tires.

When confronted by HPD Lt. Kyle Spurlin, Osburn reportedly told Spurlin to kill him. He struggled as officers took him into custody, but was arrested and charged with reckless driving and resisting arrest.
