Small child flown to Vandy after go-cart accident

A small child was flown to a Nashville hospital following a go-cart accident Thursday afternoon near Cerulean.

Fire and EMS Captain Michael Pendleton says an ambulance was called to 9860 Cerulean-Sinking Fork Road for a three-year old involved in a go-cart accident. The child had a partial fingertip amputation and was taken by EMS to a landing zone, with Air Evac then flying the patient to Vanderbilt Pediatric Hospital.
