A Hopkinsville man already sought on multiple warrants is facing new charges after he allegedly threatened to shoot a man Monday afternoon.
An arrest citation for 43-year old John Paul Hill says he pulled up his shirt to reveal a handgun and said “I’ll shoot you” when he became angry the victim who had advised a friend to not sell a car to Hill for the price Hill was offering.
Hopkinsville police located Hill in the area of Cave Run Drive and found his gun behind a shed on Tomcat Lane.
Hill was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and tampering with evidence.
He was additionally served with warrants for probation violation and failure to appear in court.
