Christian County Farm Bureau hosted its 70th Annual Meeting Thursday night in the Fairgrounds Convention Center.
Kentucky Farm Bureau is celebrating its 100th anniversary and Christian County Farm Bureau President Kent Boyd says while a lot has changed in a century, their commitment to members has remained the same.
Ashtyn Hudson is the agency manager for the Burley Avenue branch and says Christian County Farm Bureau’s response to recent tornadoes and severe thunderstorms has reiterated the importance of the local offices.
Hudson and Gary Keaton of the East 21st Street office recognized their staffs and the other Farm Bureau personnel in Christian County who meet the needs of members.
Meanwhile Maxwell Bauerman won the outstanding youth competition and Faith Jones won the talent competition.
The Farm Bureau scholarship winners are Madelyn Benett, Bradeon Hooke, Victoria Sisk and Hudson Taylor.
