The Courier Journal reports three University of Kentucky assistant coaches recently signed new contracts. Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran—who was courted for a short time by SEC rival Georgia—signed a new three year deal worth about $900,000 per season.
Tight ends coach and recruiting ace Vince Morrow got a new three year deal worth $600,000 this season and will see it increase by $25,000 per year the next two years. Morrow is also adding the title of associate head coach.
Receivers coach Michael Smith will receive $450,000 for the next two years. All three contracts include buyouts if the coaches leave Kentucky.
