Clarksville PD: suspect struck woman with stolen vehicle

The Clarksville Police Department is seeking a suspect who allegedly struck a woman with a stolen vehicle and then fled Thursday morning.

According to a news release, a verbal altercation began Thursday morning between the suspect and an attendant at a gas station on Lowe’s Drive. When the suspect, who is not named, went to leave the area, he struck a 59-year old female victim in the legs and hips with the vehicle.  He then fled from the scene.

The woman was conscious and talking as she was transported to Tennova Health Hospital.

The vehicle the suspect was driving—described as a red 2008 Dodge pickup truck—was allegedly stolen from a farm property on Dunlop Lane sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
