Elkton Police arrested two suspects on multiple charges Monday.
Officers responded to the old Save A Lot building on North Main Street regarding a suspicious vehicle and observed two people fleeing the scene, according to a news release.
Officers took 38-year old James Bowles and 29-year old Marcus Henry of Elkton into custody and they were arrested after a brief investigation. Bowles was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine, promoting contraband, fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Henry was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of a handgun by a felon.
A third suspect at the scene, Orville Messer of Elkton, was cited into court for possession of marijuana.
Police say several of the charges stem from a previous alleged incident they had been involved with. Kentucky State Police assisted Elkton Police in the investigation.
