A traffic stop at Central Avenue and Broad Street Saturday night led to the arrest of a passenger on drug charges.
The vehicle was stopped after ECC received a call of a rolling disturbance and officers saw 21-year old William Ross Moore of Hopkinsville moving around and touching his seat belt, according to an arrest citation.
Investigation turned up marijuana on the left side of the seat belt and a partially smoked marijuana cigar on the right side that Moore had allegedly attempted to hide.
He was arrested and a search of his person at the jail allegedly revealed a plastic baggie of methamphetamine.
Moore is charged with tampering with evidence, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
