A Hopkinsville woman was arrested for second-degree assault for allegedly stabbing her husband during an argument Wednesday.
According to a report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers responded to the 1600 block of Broad Street. Investigation determined that 22-year old Quadranay Thompson of Hopkinsville and her husband had reportedly gotten into an altercation.
During the dispute, Thompson allegedly stabbed her husband in his left hand with a kitchen knife. He drove himself to the hospital, where his injuries were treated.
Thompson was arrested and charged with second-degree assault domestic violence.
