Christian County and Hopkinsville are both just out of the top 10 in their classes in this week’s Associated Press polls.
Hopkinsville is ranked 11th in the Class 4-A poll where Ashland Blazer is first, Franklin Simpson second, Logan County fourth and Allen County Scottsville 10th.
Christian County is 12th in Class 5-A with Covington Catholic first, Bowling Green second, South Warren is third.
Paducah Tilghman is sixth and Caldwell County is ninth in Class 3-A with Boyle County number one.
Mayfield tops the Class 2-A poll, Pikeville is first in Class A and Henderson County is 8th in Class 6-A with Male at the head of the class.
