There will be a tag sale, meal and auction Saturday at the Milliken Memorial Community House in Elkton to raise funds for renovation of top floor of the Historic Todd County Courthouse.

Dozens of items have already been donated and photos can be found on the Historic Todd County, Inc. Facebook page. They include gift cards, furniture, antiques and many other odds and ends.

The tag sale to facilitate a faster event begins at 3 p.m., the BBQ dinner at $10 a plate starts at 5 p.m. and the auction commences at 6 p.m.

Anyone wanting to donate additional items can do so Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the historic courthouse.

Laura Brock is treasurer of Historic Todd County, Inc. and says, “We are very excited that Todd County has once more embraced our efforts. It is so reassuring to know that people not only in our community but surrounding areas as well have reached out to us to contribute to this year’s September event.”

Anyone wanting to assist in the renovation effort who cannot attend the fundraiser can still help by mailing a check to Historic Todd County, Inc., P.O. Box 101, Elkton, Ky. 42220.
