Three candidates have filed for seats on the Todd County Board of Education.
Chairman Eric Harris has submitted his papers to keep the District 2 seat he was appointed to and Johnny Knuckles has filed his papers in District 3, where he was appointed following the resignation of former chairman Matt Perry. Harris is running to fill the unexpired term of Penny Withers and Knuckles is seeking a full four-year term as that seat was already on the ballot this year.
James Todd Thomas filed to seek the District 5 seat that’s vacant with the recent resignation of Stephen Childers, who accepted a teaching position.
