Hopkinsville Police arrested a man on burglary charges Saturday morning after he allegedly went into several buildings and vehicles at Hopkinsville Public Works.
An arrest citation for 37-year old Gregory Allen Keyes of Hopkinsville says he was observed inside one of the Public Works vehicles and doors to multiple buildings were open. Items such as chainsaws, tarps and coolers had been tossed over the fence and police say Keyes admitted to moving the items.
He also allegedly admitted to consuming methamphetamine the previous night and police say he was manifestly under the influence of drugs.
Keyes was charged with third-degree burglary, receiving stolen property and public intoxication.
