The Colorado Avalanche took a 3-0 lead at the end of the first period and held off the Nashville Predators 5-3 in Game Three of their Stanley Cup Western Conference playoff series last night in Denver.
Ryan Johansen, Colton Sissons and Austin Watson lit the lamp for Nashville. Johansen says the Predators were outplayed in the game:
Pekka Rinne was pulled early in the second period after allowing four goals on 15 shots. The Predators still lead the series 2-1 with Game Four Wednesday night at 9 in Denver.
