Country Singer and Songwriter Brice Long is coming back to town with some of his friends on Saturday for his annual Back 2 Back Foundation Benefit Concert, and tickets are still on sale.
Long is a Hopkinsville native and currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He launched the foundation in 2005 to give back to those in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties. Since the foundation’s inception, it has raised over $1.2 million, and Long says the funds raised are used to buy Christmas gifts for families in need.
Long started the nonprofit as a way to give back to the community he loves and says all the funds raised stay local. Last year’s concert raised nearly $116,000 and helped provide gifts for over 100 families.
At Saturday’s concert, Long will be joined by fellow singers and songwriters Deric Ruttan, Casey James and Tony Arata, and Long highlighted some of their work.
Tickets are going fast, and Long says he hopes to perform for a sold-out show. Tickets are available at pennyroyalarts.org.
The Back 2 Back Foundation Benefit Concert takes over the Alhambra Theatre in Hopkinsville on Saturday and kicks off at 6 p.m.
