The Region 2 Softball Tournament is scheduled to begin Monday morning at Lee S. Jones Park in Eddyville.
The opening game is set for 11 a.m. with District 6 champion Henderson County (23-8) against District 7 runner-up Caldwell County (12-16).
The second game in the top half of the bracket will feature District 8 champion Christian County (19-12-2) against District 5 runner-up Lyon County (23-15) at 1 p.m. The Lady Colonels and Lady Lyons split their regular season meetings with Christian County winning 6-5 in March and the Lady Lyons picking up a 5-2 win in April.
The third game of the day and the top game of the bottom half of the bracket will be District 5 champion Crittenden County (22-10) against District 6 runner-up Union County (10-12) at 3 p.m. The final game of the day will be District 7 champion Madisonville-North Hopkins (16-10-1) against Fort Campbell (4-13) at 5 p.m.
The semifinals are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday. The championship is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Tournament officials urge fans to purchase tickets ahead of time.
