Challenge House #7 is closed until further notice as an internal issue is addressed at that location.
This action comes after the recent accusations on social media leveled against ambassador Jeff Littlefield. Challenge House Executive Director Michelle Wilson tells WHOP News that Challenge House #7, located in the Canton Pike area, will be closed to the public until further notice, and the Board cannot legally comment on the matter at this time.
In a post to their social media, Wilson stated that when they were made aware of the situation, the Board acted immediately to work to address the issue. She says, βAt Challenge House, we take situations of this nature very seriously. The safety, well-being, and trust of the individuals, families, and community we serve remain a top priority. We are committed to handling concerns responsibly, professionally, and with the level of attention they deserve.β
Hopkinsville police have said there is not a criminal investigation ongoing at this time.
In Hopkinsville there are six Challenge Houses that provide youth and community outreach services such as after school tutoring, snack programs, jobs and skills training, their annual AT&T (Attitude, Training and Teamwork) Program and much more.
