Former CCHS star Trice Jr. clears waivers, becomes free agent

According to a report from Steelersnow, Former Christian County High School football star Cory Trice Jr., who was released by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday with a failed physical designation, cleared waivers and is now a free agent. 

Trice missed the entire 2025 season. He was placed on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury in the preseason.  

Trice played six games over three seasons for the Steelers and was hampered by knee and hamstring injuries after being drafted by Pittsburgh out of Purdue in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
