This week’s Jennie Stuart Health-Michael Venable State Farm Player of the Week is University Heights Academy senior baseball player Ryan Luckey.
Luckey went 2-for-7 with six runs scored from his leadoff spot for the Blazers last weekend at the Touchstone Energy All “A” State Baseball Tournament at Daviess County High School. He also made several key defensive plays in center field and in the championship game, he came in to pitch and held No. 14-ranked Beechwood to only one hit and no runs in 3 2/3 innings.
