Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals from Oak Grove following a welfare check for six minors on Tuesday.
Twenty-four-year-old Austin Burns, 35-year-old Shanelle Bailey and 48-year-old Tina Burns all of Oak Grove were charged with first-degree wanton endangerment after deputies found that the six children in their home were living in poor conditions.
According to a report, the house had no electricity for the past four years and contained mold and holes in the wall and the floor. The bathroom reportedly had animal feces on the ground, the refrigerator was empty and there were exposed electrical wires that could have been harmful to smaller children.
The trio are lodged at the Christian County Jail.
