Avery Adcock went 3-for-4 at the plate and lifted the Christian County Lady Colonels to a 4-2 high school softball victory over host Russellville Monday.
Christian County (13-10) scored on a wild pitch in the first inning and increased its lead to 2-0 in the third. The Lady Colonels made it 4-0 in the fourth when Adcock singled and an error allowed Adcock and Alexis Epps to score.
Jordan Turner went 5 1/3 innings to pick up the pitching win for Christian County.
Talyn Ezell and Chloe Almy each had a pair of hits for the Lady Colonels, who are scheduled to play host to Webster County today.
