The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating after two women were reportedly assaulted Saturday night on Walnut Street.
According to the incident report, two women were at a business in the 1400 block of Walnut around 1:45 a.m. when an unknown suspect struck them in the head with a pistol, causing apparent injuries.
No suspect is listed on the report and the incident is being investigated as second-degree assault.
