Calloway Co. man federally indicted for possessing with the intent to distribute meth

A Calloway County man is facing federal charges after a grand jury returned an indictment for possessing with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. 

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney of the Western District of Kentucky, 52-year-old Robert William Grundy of Almo was charged with possessing with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine on June 14, 2023. 

If convicted, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison. The defendant remains in federal custody pending trial.

There is no parole in the federal system.
