The Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched the Hoptown Explorer Pass a mobile scavenger hunt that leads participants across Hopkinsville to well-known locations and stores.
Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director, Brooke Jung spoke about the Explorer Pass with WHOP on Monday.
Some of the included check-in destinations is Christian Way Farm and Mini Golf, the Alhambra Theater, Casey Jones Distillery and much more.
The Explorer Pass is free and does not require an app download. Participants will be texted or emailed their Hopkinsville passport and when checking off a travel destination participants will need to have their location services turned on.
If the destination is a retail location participants may be eligible for discounts.
Jung says as explorers check off destinations on their passports, they will gain points and those points can turn into prizes from the Visitors Bureau which are not available for purchase.
More details and registration for the Hoptown Explorer Pass is available at visithopkinsville.com/passport/.
