Two good Samaritans were able to help pull a man from a wrecked vehicle that was catching fire Saturday morning.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle that was headed northbound on Stringtown Road around 7:50 a.m. and driven by 47-year-old Charles White of Elkton went off the roadway for an unknown reason, struck a tree and began to ignite with fire.
Two citizens, Gregory Bell and Jason Weaver, stopped and were able to get White out of the vehicle as it was catching fire. White was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for injuries from the wreck.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Fairview Fire Department, Todd County Rescue and Todd County EMS.
