The Oak Grove Community Center is closed until further notice due to ongoing issues with the air conditioning units.
The center was closed Friday as temperatures begin to climb outdoors, and Oak Grove Mayor Jackie Oliver says she made the decision to close the building to help keep people safe from the heat, as the air conditioning remains out-of-commission for the time being.
There is currently no timeline on when the community center might reopen, but work is underway to get the units back up and running as soon as possible.
