Rep. Dossett urges people to be cautious when hiring people to repair storm damage

While people are looking to clean-up and make repairs from recent severe weather, Representative Myron Dossett is reminding them to use caution when hiring someone to do that work.

Dossett says he knows how tiring and frustrating it can be to get things back in order and back to normal when recovering from storm damage, but make sure you take the time to work with someone who is reputable and make sure they are legitimate before handing out your money to them.

He recommends taking pictures and documenting all damages yourself before cleaning anything, so insurance adjusters and other agencies can have clear evidence of all damages.

Representative Dossett says he’s more than willing to help anyone who needs assistance or who feels they’re not getting the amounts they feel they are owed via insurance or governmental assistance.
