Cards Travel to Houston for Shriners Children’s College Classic
The University of Louisville baseball team heads to Texas this weekend to play in the 2023 Shriners Children’s College Classic. Louisville will square off against Texas A&M, TCU and Michigan at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Cards Top Northern Kentucky 7-0
The University of Louisville softball team earned its sixth straight win and second consecutive shutout with a 7-0 victory over Northern Kentucky Thursday evening at Ulmer Stadium. Louisville (12-4) will return to action on Saturday against Toledo at 10 a.m. and No. 22/22 Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. Graduate senior Taylor Roby (5-1) picked up the win the circle, scattering four hits and striking out nine in six innings and helped her cause by going 2-for-2 with two RBIs at the plate. Current ACC Player of the Week Korbe Otis continued her offensive momentum with two hits, a run and an RBI.

WKU Opens Five-Game Homestand with Hilltopper Spring Fling
After the Hilltopper Classic last weekend, WKU Softball is set to wrap up their final tournament of the season this Friday-Sunday at the WKU Softball Complex for their annual Hilltopper Spring Fling. WKU is set to face Akron, Evansville, and Austin Peay, playing a total of five games. With two wins over the weekend, head coach Amy Tudor would mark her 500th career win as a head coach in 19 seasons. As WKU’s head coach since 2014, Tudor is only 19 wins away from win No. 300 for the Red and White. The Hilltopper Spring Fling consists of three teams that WKU has seen. This will mark the sixth and seventh times WKU has played Akron, the Hilltoppers last played the MAC team in 2015. WKU will play Evansville in a 12-9 lead for the Hilltoppers in the series, while the Tops have seen Austin Peay 29 times being a regional opponent.

Hilltoppers Continue Home Stand with Four-Game Series Against Northern Illinois
WKU Baseball will continue its 13-game home stand with a four-game series against Northern Illinois this weekend beginning at 3 p.m. CT on Friday March 3, at Nick Denes Field. The Hilltoppers will open the four-game series against Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 3. WKU will then play a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. CT against the Huskies on Saturday, March 4 with the second game beginning approximately at 5 p.m. CT. The Hilltoppers will close out its series against Northern Illinois on Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m. CT.

Racers Look to Build Momentum in Weekend Series with NKU
Murray State baseball is set to host Northern Kentucky at Johnny Reagan field for a three-game set on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is the first-ever meeting between the Racers and the Norse.

Racers Travel to Starkville for Wilcox Memorial
After winning its final three games last weekend, the Murray State softball team will look to build on that momentum this weekend at the 2023 Alex Wilcox Memorial Tournament in Starkville Mississippi State, hosted by Mississippi State. Murray State is 0-3 all-time against this weekend opponents with an 0-2 record against the host Bulldogs and an 0-1 mark against ACU.

Govs make short trip north to participate in WKU Spring Fling
After a nine-day layoff, Austin Peay State University’s softball team returns to action this weekend at the WKU Softball Complex, as they make the short 62-mile trip north to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to participate in the WKU Spring Fling Tournament. Saturday will see the Govs face tournament host Western Kentucky, at 3 p.m., followed by a, 5:30 p.m., contest against Evansville. Austin Peay concludes play in the Spring Fling on Sunday, with a couple of rematches, beginning with Akron, at 10 a.m., and a 5:30 p.m. contest vs. Evansville.

Govs close first road trip at Oklahoma State
Austin Peay concludes its first road trip of 2023 when it meets nationally-ranked Oklahoma State in a three-game series, Friday-Sunday, at O’Brate Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The trip to the Sooner State will be a return home for seven Governors players and three members of the APSU coaching staff, including head coach Roland Fanning. Fanning took over an Austin Peay program that posted 19 wins in 2022 after serving as an assistant the past 15 seasons, including stints at Oklahoma State and Kentucky.
