(St. Louis, MO)  — The Cardinals managed just three hits in a 3-2 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Busch Stadium.  Paul Goldschmidt drove in his 110th run of the season in the losing effort, and Miles Mikolas was charged with his 12th loss after giving up three runs in six innings.  The Cardinals remain in control of the NL Central, sitting seven-and-a-half games above Milwaukee with an 84-and-60 record.  Jack Flaherty takes the mound for St. Louis against the Reds tonight.

Reds starting pitcher Chase Anderson says it was nice to bounce back after getting swept their previous series.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol says starter Miles Mikolas had a better outing this time around.
