Dane Key was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week and Jordan Wright was the co-Defensive Player of the Week for their efforts in a resounding 26-16 victory at then-No. 12 Florida on Saturday night, the league announced Monday. Kentucky now has had a weekly award winner in each of the first two weeks of the season, two of which have been freshmen.

(Knoxville, TN) — Two Tennessee standouts are making the S-E-C players of the week. Quarterback Hendon Hooker took home offensive player of the week while defensive end Byron Young was awarded defensive lineman of the week. Hooker went 27-of-42 for 325 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s 34-27 overtime win against the Panthers in Pittsburgh. Young had a sack in the game along with four tackles, two of which were tackles for loss. The Vols host Akron Saturday night.

Junior Camille Barber has earned Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference on Monday afternoon. Barber played a pivotal role on the backline for Murray State in their 3-1 win over Lindenwood. The junior defender dished out two assists on the week to help Racers soccer earn their 200 all-time victory.

ATLANTA – Austin Peay State University quarterback Mike DiLiello was named the ASUN Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. The graduate student from Pembroke Pines, Florida completed 25-of-33 passes for an ASUN record 383 yards and a conference record-tying five touchdowns. DiLiello’s 383 yards also are the third-best single-game mark in program history and his 25 completions are the seventh-best mark in APSU history and the most since 2012. With five touchdown passes, DiLiello tied the second-best single-game mark in program history, despite just playing a single play in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 41-0 blowout win against Mississippi Valley State. Nationally, DiLiello’s five touchdown passes are tied for the second-best single-game mark in the FCS this season and his 383 yards are the ninth-best single-game total. Through Week 2 of the season, DiLiello leads the ASUN Conference in passing efficiency (191.43), passing yards (760), and passing touchdowns (11) – he has five more passing touchdowns than the next closest quarterback in the league. Nationally, DiLiello is tied for the FCS lead in passing touchdowns and leads the country in points responsible for (78), he also ranks fourth in yards and efficiency.

ATLANTA – Libero Erin Eisenhart became the first Austin Peay State University volleyball player to earn ASUN Conference weekly honors, with the league naming her its defensive player of the week, Monday, after her solid performance at the Holiday Inn-University Plaza Invitational hosted by Western Kentucky last weekend in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

ATLANTA – Austin Peay State University’s Erica Scutt has been named the ASUN Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the opening week of the season, the conference announced Thursday. Scutt opened her sophomore season by winning the GolfWeek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina in record-breaking fashion. Scutt fired a tournament score of 204, which is the best 54-hole score in Austin Peay history by four strokes. The Alpharetta, Georgia native opened the tournament with the best 18-hole score in program history, shooting a seven-under 64 at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. In the second round, Scutt carded the second-best 18-hole score in Austin Peay history, shooting a five-under 66 to build a five-stroke lead with one round left to play.
